The fantastic Cornish weather has helped to bring us the first variety from our “Twelve Tomato” mix and it is quite possibly the sweetest of them all. These little balls of liquid sunshine are known as Canara Gold.
Canara Gold is a bright orange round cherry tomato. The high sugar content makes this tomato irresistibly sweet and juicy. This variety is delicious eaten raw, roasted or cooked in Mediterranean dishes.
This week we are also looking forward to receiving our first crop of Quarto Cucumbers. We also are seeing a regular supply of mixed french beans and runner beans.
